In order to keep the bike running its best a data sheet is used to record the various set-ups and changes. The data sheet is then used as reference in future races to aid in setting up the bike for repeated racing in the future. Click on the link below to see a sample.
2009
Formula 1
A few minor adjustments have been made to the front end. The brake pedal and assembly was over-hauled allowing the driver to have more brake when entering the corners.
A belly skirt was added in order to completely seal the underneath of the race bike. The hope is to decrease air resistance. the belly skirt was fitted with two air intakes to help cooling, both for the rider and engine.
An ignition box was added and the settings will be determined once a few runs at the track indicate which way to go. A new tachometer is in the works to be mounted along with a shift light.
Further cleaning of the frame, touch-up paint and a final cleaning on the body will have the bike ready to role coming the first race weekend in May
Formula 2
The Formula 2 bike sustained some body damage in the 2008 race season and is in the process of repair. By the time the bike is ready, Driver Michelle Ractliffe will have a new looking bike and a new passenger to go along with the new race season. The body of the Formula 2 bike is at the body shop getting some body work done along with a paint job. This years color scheme for the formula 2 bike is going to be Red, White and Black.
Further cleaning and checks will happen in the upcoming weeks. A finished Formula 2 will appear hear once completed.
